Two years ago, the Community Foundation purchased an old church and Sunday School. They soon issued a Request For Proposal for architects to provide a design that would allow them to adapt and reuse the existing buildings to create the new inland headquarters for the Community Foundation. Collaborative Design & Planning was selected. The first phase of the planned improvements, the conversion of the church into a large conference and meeting center, is currently under construction. The next phase includes an addition linking the new conference and meeting center to the new offices which occupy the old Sunday School. This will become the main entry to the office.
